Fire Resistant
Concrete roof tiles are non combustible and when used in conjunction with full sarking to the roof area, they provide a roof that will comply with BAL (Bushfire Attack Level) ratings.
Thermal Insulation
Concrete tiles provide improved insulation, which can be enhanced further by the colour of the selected tile. This, along with the addition of reflective sarking installed underneath the tiles can reflect up to 95% of radiant heat in summer and help minimise heat lose in winter.
Acoustic Benefit
The density of a concrete roof tile will help reduce most external noise far more effectively than most other roofing materials. A concrete tiled roof is less likely to creak with temperature variations as would occur with other types of roofing material.
